  • Creative Arts Therapy does not require any previous artistic experience or skill!

  • A device with a video camera, a stable internet connection, and a private space where you are comfortable.

    You also need to be residing in Aotearoa New Zealand.

  • I take a person-centred, trauma informed approach to therapy. This means it is a collaborative space where your needs are paramount.

    I am interested in somatic processing, internal family systems concepts, expressive arts, integrating play, queer and identity affirming, and honouring te Tiriti in my practise.

  • The initial consultation gives both you and I the opportunity to meet and see if you feel we are a good fit together. It is an opportunity for you to ask any questions and see if you like the online format.

    It is important that you find a therapist that you like and if you feel we don’t connect at this consult, I can provide you referral to other therapists.

  • Sessions for individuals are 50 minutes long. However, we can plan a longer session together in advance if we think it would be helpful.

  • Sessions are $100. Reduced cost sessions for students are available.

  • I don’t currently provide in person sessions.

  • Small group sessions are a group of 3-5 individuals and one facilitating therapist. These focus on general mental and creative wellbeing. These allow us to work in community with others.

    We will work together to identify the code of the group (how we are going to interact with each other) in the first session and each session following will have creative intention, individual processing and group sharing.
